I don’t know about where you are, but it’s a hot Thankful Thursday today!  I picked up some groceries after my part time job and couldn’t spend too much time doing other shopping cos I knew it was going to be HOT in the car.  I did manage to get a pair of croc flip flops that were on sale at this Shoe Sensations tho 😀

1.  Who likes to fish?  I haven’t done any fishing this year, but they are biting around our parts, so Mister went and caught our dinner.  But before that, he stopped for a quickie visit at my workplace.  Always love when that happens.  And I luv that man! #blessed

2.  I lost 4 pounds last week on my fast/cleanse.  So I’m going to do it again.

3.  Another thing about people driving on the blacktop I now live on.  In addition to driving too fast on it, some people who are obviously in a hurry will not pass me, but stay right on my butt.  I hate that with a passion and feel like either slamming on my brakes suddenly or slowing way down.  But I don’t want to get hit or cause road rage, so I just go the speed limit or a little less.  But that sure is irksome!

4.  Traveler Tidbit of the week 🙂   So this is the answer I received from a male traveler when I asked him if I could help him find ‘something in particular today’:  “I was born in Iowa honey, so I know my way around”.  I think he meant to say ‘No, thank you’, right?  Whatever mister – who I didn’t even bother to ask to sign our guestbook assuming with that attitude he would have answered “No honey, I’m too important to sign your silly little book”.   #somepeople

On the Fitness and Nutrition Front

One of our meals was homemade tacos this week.  I couldn’t help myself.  I had 4.

Read first thing while having coffee. Like reading what’s going on in Iowa! You sure meet some grumpy people. Glad you keep your spirits up! Tacos look yummy!

haha Yep, ALL kinds of people! A lot of them are very nice actually. Even some tired ones are nice. The grumpy ones I can do without, but they make for interesting blogging lol And they keep me on my toes! Mister says we should have tacos every week – I just haven’t gotten there yet 😛
