Today is my first Thankful Thursday post of a new month.  I can’t believe we’ll be into the fall season in a few weeks 🙁  I know some people welcome the fall colors and the cooler temps, but I don’t.  I appreciate fall but to me it just means winter is coming.  And ya’ll know I don’t like the cold!  But I’m not going to worry about it now.  There’ll be time for that later. lol

1.  Mister didn’t have to work on Saturday.  That was a mucho grande highlight.  We spent two whole days together 🙂  I needed to visit the Asian grocery store so we made a trip to the city to do that.  While we were there we thought we’d get some sushi for lunch.  Our favorite spot was renovating so we had to find someplace else which was disappointing but turned out good.

2.  Not much else happened worth too much writing about this past week.  Oh!  There was a ginormous yellow and black spider that scared me when I went to get the mail one day.  I won’t post its picture 1. becos I don’t want it on my Blog and 2. becos all I got was blurry pictures.  I didn’t want to get too close in case it decided to attack me!  Mister told me it’s just a garden spider and harmless.  It must like the grass it was in becos from tip to tip, it was almost 2 inches long!!!  I’m not exaggerating.

3.  Traveler Tidbit of the week:  When I asked Bob from MI what I could get for him today (I meant literature), he said, “A cold beer?!?”  I told him no one’s ever answered with that one and he said that’s becos it’s his first time here.   lol

On the Fitness and Nutrition Front

This is my third week doing the Country Heat workouts and I don’t see any big changes but my legs sure hurt sometimes!  I luv it!  I haven’t followed the eating plan so I guess until I do that, this might be a long road to losing my last 10 – 15 pounds.

Someone left a couple yellow squashes on my deck.  I replenished my asian sauces so decided to make stir fry.  #deliciousness

Thankful Thursday

Scary spider for sure! Visiting daughter during hurricane but we were ok. Going back home this week. I don’t like cold either so not looking forward to winter. I love the beach and pool and got to go in both all summer so that was nice.

I think I inherited my fear of spiders from my Mom. Been trying to get over it, but so far not successful! So glad you were ok in the hurricane zone. Every section of our country has its horrible weather, none of which is better than the other, unfortunately. I pray for mild winters all the time. Will pray for ya too! Too bad we can’t have pool/beach weather ALL the time, right? 🙂
