This is about me – Wanda Einfeldt. I’d like to say I’m just your average Joe – or Jane – but I’m not. I’ve always been a late bloomer, I was born and raised in Hawaii, and I’m an Asian living in a small rural German Iowa town. I’m a stay-at-home Mom, although my children are all married adults with families of their own and I homeschooled our youngest. 🙂 I like to think of myself as ‘unique’ and I actually feel very blessed in my life. Fitness and health are my passion, but it wasn’t always that way. There was a dark moment about 10 years ago when I thought I was too old to change what I looked like and that weight loss was not going to be in my future. I had given up all hope of being healthy and fit and I had just about resigned to accept the fact that I was going to be out of shape the rest of my life. But deep down I knew there *had to be* an alternative. That’s when I got down on my knees and prayed for help, a sign, a miracle…. *something* to point me to some kind of change! That’s when I found the Power 90 infomercial. I had never bought anything from an infomercial in my life but I did that nite! And as they say, the rest is history 🙂
I was pretty much the girl that could eat anything and wouldn’t gain weight. Even after I had children. But that changed when I moved from Seattle, Washington to Iowa. This is corn and pork country….you know, where corn is fed to animals to fatten them up? And I love sweet corn! I had become older and was not exercising. Hence my weight gain. I had been between 105 and 110 when I was a young adult – I’m 5 foot 2, by the way – so when I reached my highest weight at 135, I became very depressed becos I didn’t think I would lose the weight. I thought that I had to accept the fact that I was going to be fat and out of shape for the rest of my life. I saw no hope in anything being different. I had tried diet pills & exercise gadgets in the past and found they didn’t work. So I knew that I wasn’t going down that road again. But what to do? I had no clue and that was a very sad and heavy feeling of hopelessness.
I believe in prayer so that is what I did and one nite I saw the Power 90 infomercial by Beachbody. I watched it a few times and believed the people were real and not actors or models, and that the work I was going to have to put in didn’t look too difficult. Well, within the first week, I could feel a difference in how my clothes fit and I was tickled. 90 days later, I had lost about 6 pounds and 4 inches and decided to do it again. You can read more of my fitness transformation story here. And watch me on my very first video here.
I became an independent fitness Coach becos I wanted to pay it forward. I want to help others who feel it is too late to change, or that they’re too old to change, or that they don’t have enough time or they’re too busy or too out of shape….or too anything. I believe with desire and the willingness to make changes, it can happen. Health and fitness is not where you do exercise a few times a week and diet. It’s a lifestyle change – a permanent one that can happen if you have the right mindset and the persistent determination to do it.
Today I am involved with helping people – from all around the country – and we’re working towards one common goal:

I am always looking for people to join my team – I’d love to hear from you if you think you might be interested in joining my team!
Wanda–I love your story! Yeah, corn does fatten us up! Good for you getting on Power 90 and going for it!
Wanda, I am soooooo happy to hear your success story. You are truly an inspiration and your story will definitely help others in their struggles to take their life back!!!
Thank you Kelli for stopping by. FYI I don’t eat corn like I used to when I first moved here – I’ve learned that moderation is my friend 🙂 And Power 90 will *always* be dear to my heart cos it was my lifesaver!
You found me Joe! 🙂 Thankx for the encouraging words and vote of confidence and for stopping by. I appreciate it.

Thank you, Susie for stopping by. I appreciate your positive and supportive comments 🙂
W, I thought it was about time I checked out your blog, and wow. I am very impressed with you, your life journey, and your blog is inspiring to me (having been raised in the midwest I still haven’t lost a lot of the corn-feeding habits). Love your drive and passion. I started exercising more now in my middle age but it’s not enough and I’m rearranging my whole dietary/health style. Your blog is a terrific resource.
OMGosh Justin! Thank you for stopping by and for those awesome comments. I’m humbled and honored to hear that I’m an inspiration and appreciate you saying so. I didn’t realize you were raised in the midwest – small world. (Thank goodness I’ve curbed my overindulging those peaches and cream corn on the cob!!) I’m very pleased to hear that you are exercising more and rearranging your nutrition. You’ll only benefit from those changes! Let me know anytime if I can help you in your journey 🙂
