Today I received the news of a death. I know we hear of it daily in the news, but this was closer to home and very very sad.  It was the future father-in-law of my nephew.  They are getting married in a little over a month. Of course this is devastating news for everyone concerned but I am very saddened for this young woman.  It stemmed from a disease called alcoholism which eventually brings on liver problems, immune system issues and in too many cases, death.  It saddens me becos she will not have her Daddy walk her down the aisle on her wedding day, nor will he see her children born or get to spoil them as a grampa has a right to do in his empty nester years.  It also hits home again as to the importance of health and fitness and taking care of our God-given temples.  He was only 58.  🙁

It is never too late to choose to change to a healthier lifestyle.  Please, if you are considering doing so and need help, I am here to help you.  My time is free to you.

Namaste

Very sad story I feel for that young lady I almost lost my father to the same thing but luckily he found help and recovered. He still had to deal with the problems that he caused himself with the disease. How we treat our body has long lasting effects on our future. Thanks for the story even though it was very sad.

You’re welcome Daine. I’m glad to hear that your father was able to beat the disease and recover. And that he was able to be around for you 🙂

Sorry for your loss. We definitely shouldn’t take our health for granted.

Thankx Steve! I used to take my health for granted a long time ago, but once I realized how detrimental it can be if we don’t take care, I changed my tune. Thank God!!

My prayers go out, so sorry for your loss. Like your husband I’m shooting for 120 years also. 58 is so young.

Thank you for your prayers, Karl. I figured out by your handle that that’s what you’re shooting for. You’re well on your way 🙂
