I said I’d come back to post the good, the bad and the ugly. Well, the good news is that the first week, I lost 3.5 pounds! Score! The bad news is I had to work my part-time Temp job assignment the next week so didn’t get in a whole lot of workouts and didn’t even weigh myself so I don’t know whether there was a gain, loss or a stay even. This job thing is a new assignment that I will be doing once a month for about a week and I’m still learning the ropes so it’s stressful. It’s like anything in life and will take time to adjust to and I’m sure I’ll get better at it. It’s no different than my fitness journey which is constantly changing and being modified depending on where I’m at at any given moment as I strive to get better.
Ok, so the end of Week 3, I weighed in and gained .5 pounds back from the 3.5 I had lost. No biggies! I was actually pleased (and surprised) since I hadn’t worked out the second week except for 1 day. I did get back into regular workouts – this third week I worked out with Shaun T – Hip Hop Abs and Rockin’ Body. He sure has some moves that make ya sweat! Sheesh!
As for my diet, I’m still tweaking my nutrition…I HAVE been eating more fruit but still not where I know I need to be to make my goal happen. But not to worry cos I know I can DOOEET. I will do it! Stay tuned…
