I had the day off today so ran a few errands in town and then into the city. I couldn’t help but feel so blessed to see everything so green! I just love this time of the year! Everything is so new with life and the winter browns and the blah has left. That is what I’m most grateful for typing out this Thankful Thursday post.
1. This is also the time of year when high school graduations take place. We have 3 nieces and 1 male cousin becoming high school alumni locally and a niece and nephew on Maui doing the same thing. Also nearby we have a couple kids of close family friends graduating – a guy and a gal. We went to 2 parties this week alone! Woohoo!
2. The flowers are blooming and I attempted a couple shots with my new camera 🙂 These are better than the iPod Touch ones lol

3. We did our mowing workout – 2 mowers going at the same time – in two days (takes us about 7 or 8 hours to get thru it all) so we could get a motorcycle ride in on the holiday – but it wasn’t meant to be. 🙁 We had buckets of rain instead on Memorial Day and drove our car to visit our daughter and son in law. He grilled burgers on their balcony and it was a good time as usual. 🙂
4. Take a look at our first harvest from one of our vegetable gardens. We eat a salad quite often for lunch and dinner as it is, but we are going to eat way more in the next few weeks! And spinach salad is one of my favorites. Yum 🙂
