What a week full of “highlights” – scary moments, happy moments and relieving moments…a truly Thankful Thursday!
1. We went out to buy a used (third) car to be a back up in case one of the other two breaks down and we’d have one while it’s in the shop. We came home feeling really blessed with a nearly brand new car (only 6K miles on a 2013) for a great price.
2. The next morning, my husband woke me up before my alarm and said that the heat was out. He had already called the Heating Company guy to come out to check things out. But I still had to get ready for work in the COLD! Ya gotta love winter. Not!
3. I drove in whiteout conditions for the first time in my life. I’ve lived in Iowa for 27 years and have NEVER experienced it. And I never want to again! Read the play by play here.
4. I scored another awesome massage by my personal masseuse 🙂
5. The good news is that the days are getting longer. I posted this on Twitter and a follower asked me what that means. He said the days are the same for him. haha So I clarify here – the daylight hours are staying around longer than the darkness. Yay!
