How’s your day going?  It’s blowing a lot outside.  No better time to do my Thankful Thursday post than now, right?  Before the power goes out or something.

1.  Mother’s Day is coming in a few days.  One of my sisters-in-law left the state to spend time with her mother-in-law.  So she had her ‘Mother’s Day gathering’ for her and her kids last weekend.  She invited Mister and myself to join the group.  It has been several weeks since we had a family gathering which is always fun, PLUS it was my first grill out for the year.  Yum!

2.  Mister went back to work this week.  He’s been hurting the last few nites after being off construction work for several months…but he loves being back at it!  So we are going thru another adjustment period.  Who gets to shower when…do we have enough leftovers to pack two lunches?  Is dinner late again?

3.  This being the first part of the month, I get to work my full-time AND part-time jobs.  The office where I do the Billing once a month needed a shredder as the owner is going paperless.  I asked one of my grandsons if he wanted to do it, he said yes and I got to work with him for two days 🙂  He has a great work ethic and was very nicely paid for an awesome job done.  It was cool to have lunch with him (we brought pb & j sandwiches!) and visit for two days in a row.  #memories

On the Fitness/Nutrition Front

4.  My arm workouts are paying off and I’m getting the definition I’m looking for.  It’s not happening as fast as I wanted, but then I only started working on this a few weeks ago.  I revisited my old Beachbody workouts this week – Great Body Guaranteed Arms and Power Half Hour Arm Toner.

5.  I hit a weight loss plateau (I think due to the muscle definition).  Only a month to the wedding, but I cannot stress about it.  I am adjusting my food portions again!  And also cutting out more starches.
