Can you believe this Thankful Thursday temperature? Today’s high will be 74 degrees! WOOdoubleHOO!
1. I finished my Christmas shopping last week – 2 online orders and I already received one of the shipments. I’m so glad to be done with that part. Next week I might even start wrapping them 🙂 I’m at least intending to put out some Christmas decorations right after Thankxgiving. And…I got a deal on Christmas CDs since I needed more Christmas music. I’ve been using my cassette tapes for over 30 years and they finally gave out on me! Anyway, I paid the same price for a set 3 CDs of 50 Christmas Favorites as I did for 1 CD of Celtic Ladies Christmas. It’s been a little difficult to hold myself back, but I have managed to NOT rip them open and play them – so far! 😉 #Christmasismyfavoriteholiday
2. Mister woke me up this morning before leaving for work to tell me the shower/tub faucet wouldn’t work this morning. Guess I’ll have to do the “washcloth bath” and wash my hair in the sink too. Thank goodness for my Norwex body cloths! #chemicalfreecleaning
3. The other day I pulled out my yarn and crochet needles. I am using up my ‘leftover’ yarn to make some items for Bingo prizes for a nursing home. This is kinda like getting two for the price of one 🙂
4. Traveler Tidbit of the week: I have two tidbits about a couple kids. Kayla from GA, about 9 or 10 years old watched her mother sign the Guestbook. Then she looked at my name tag and said, “You have a pretty name.” How sweet is that? Then there was Emma from IL who looked to be about 14 who walked in with a smartphone in her hand and her little brother, about 11 in tow. She asked if they could have two Activity books. It was so refreshing to me to see youngsters who obviously like technology to still choose to do puzzles and mazes with pen and paper.
On the Fitness and Nutrition Front
So I increased the intensity of my workout moves but was too short on time to double up on the workouts. That’s a goal for this week with my Country Heat program.
