I’m back to say that Week 5 and 6 of my Holiday Fitness Journey ended in a 1 lb. loss each week!  Woohoo!  Thankxgiving fell into this time frame and I didn’t work out all 5 days that week, but I’ll take the loss.  Some day I think I want to do a journey and get really really serious…e.g. work out every day and eat very very clean.  I bet I would be amazed at where I’d end up – even at my age!  Maybe I could be another Ernestine Shepherd.  lol  (Don’t hold your breath – I’m not ready to commit to that just yet.)

I missed eating fruit 2 or 3 days in the last 2 weeks, but have increased my vegetable intake so not complaining too much there.  I ‘found’ a new favorite salad but I increased my carbs a little too so will work on cutting back again these next two (the last two) weeks of my journey.  I will be a happy camper if I manage to lose a couple more pounds and inches.  We’ll have to wait and see…
